JAKARTA, Dec 15 (Bernama) --
A 47- year-old Indonesian man has died of bird flu, bringing the nation's
death toll from the virulent disease to 93, the Vietnam news agency (VNA)
reported Friday quoting news reports as saying.
An official working at a bird flu-designed hospital in East Jakarta said the
man died on Dec 13 after being treated at the hospital for three days with
symptoms of avian influenza, including fever, difficulty in breathing and
cough.

Earlier,
laboratories tests showed the man, who had kept ducks at his home, were
positive for bird flu.
Indonesia has had the highest number of human deaths from bird flu, with 115
infected cases reported so far, including 93 fatalities.-- BERNAMA
