KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 22: Ward 28 of the Kuala Lumpur Hospital is one place everyone would like to avoid.

This is because those suspected of being infected with the bird flu are being sent there for treatment.

It also served as the isolation ward during the SARS outbreak.

For the moment, all suspected H5N1 virus infected patients will be warded here. This is because the Kuala Lumpur Hospital is the designated hospital for bird flu victims.
