The bird flu scare is not keeping the public off their favorite
meals.
General manager of McDonald’s Malaysia Yousif Abdulghani said
sales have not been affected by the outbreak.
“Our chicken is from premium suppliers and is cooked at a
temperature greater than 70 degrees Celsius, the level
recommended by the World Health Organization,” said Yousif.

Berjaya Roasters (M) Sdn Bhd marketing manager Esther Woo said
it was ‘business as usual’ at Kenny Rogers Roasters outlets.
She said the restaurant follows the standard cooking procedure
recommended by WHO and chicken is cooked at 85 degrees Celsius.
KFC Holdings (Malaysia) Bhd said they are monitoring the
situation closely. |
