Vets monitor entry points |

ALOR STAR: VETERINARY officers here are monitoring border entry points for poultry being smuggled in from Thailand. Veterinary Services Department director Dr Quaza Nizamuddin Hassan Nizam said officers were stationed at the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine checkpoints. The department has so far seized 3.9 tonnes of frozen chicken, 120 preserved chicken eggs, 46 duck eggs and five fighting cocks. |
