CONTROL OF STRAY DOGS

Report strays to relevant authority
Send unwanted puppies, dogs or strays to SPCA or Perak DVS
Rubbish have to be kept in proper bins and covered tight.
Dogs have to be kept within compound or tied up and not left to roam free.
Spay or castrate dogs to control breeding.
Don't feed strays.
When there's an ongoing destruction of strays campaign, don't hide these strays.

  • Disrupt harmony among neighbors
  • Bites dangerous to public
  • Howling a disturbance in the night
  • Host to parasites, bacteria and fungus - threat to public health
  • Environmental pollution - a source for breeding of flies and rats.
