SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - A case of suspected bird flu has been found in poultry in southwestern South Korea, an official said Thursday.

"No one has been infected so far, though it could spread to people,'' an official at the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said. The discovery was made in the southwestern province of Jeolla Province. The official, who asked not to be named due to the sensitivity of the issue, said it will take time to confirm the case. - AP
