Height 23-27.5", weight 80-90 lbs. Sweet, gentle & family-oriented. Friendly including to children. Good watchdog. Coat is soft, silky, shiny, long & slightly wavy. Needs weekly brushings. Colour is jet black with rich rust & pure white markings. Rust appears over each eye, on cheeks, each side of chest, all four legs & under tail. There is a white blaze & muzzle band. White markings on chest typically forms an inverted cross. Tip of tail is white. Life span: 10-12 years
