DEVON REX
 

Origin: Devon, England. Small to medium-sized; slim, elegant body. Extraordinarily large ears; some more extreme & elf-like in appearance. Whiskers curly, sparse, short & brittle. Coat curly & much softer than Cornish Rex's. Bald spots or spots with little fur common. Wide variety of colours & patterns but solid white most common. Wonderful temperament. Very affectionate, love attention. Nosy, inquisitive. Lively, playful, but don't mix well with children. Exceptional leapers. Fondly described as "little terrors" & "monkeys in cats' clothing". Average litter size: 5. Life span: 9-15 years.
