Origin: America. Longhaired version of the Abyssinian. Very active, playful, intelligent, curious. Gentle, bold. Long, full tail with bushy, dark tip. Muscular, medium-sized. Almond-shaped, dark-rimmed green, hazel or amber eyes. Large, pointed ears set wide upon head. Most striking feature is its beautiful, ticked, soft coat. 28 colours - usual  ruddy (most common), red, blue or fawn. Average litter size: 5. Life span: 9-15 years.
