Origin: Thailand. One of the most popular breeds. Most intelligent. Energetic & mischievous. Need a lot of attention. Boisterous, one of the most vocal breed. Excellent with kids. Long, sleek body. Oriental, slanted, deep blue eyes. Slender neck that supports long neck with distinct muzzle. Large, pricked ears point outward. Long, tapering tail.Fine, very short, silky coat. 32 colours - seal (dark brown), chocolate, blue or lilac (pinkish grey) point. Newer colours include cinnamon, chocolate tabby, red tabby, blue tortie, lilac tabby, cream, fawn & seal tortie tabby point. Need a warm climate. Average litter size: 6 but >10 are also common. Life span: > 15 years.
