RAGDOLLS

Origin: America. Named for their unusual habit of lying limp in your
arms. Most docile of all breeds. Very loving, affectionate, playful.
Intelligent, well-mannered. Excellent with children. Make excellent
pets. Adaptable to many environments. Large, thick-boned. Males can
weigh up to 20 lbs. However, slow to mature - do not reach adult
size until 3-4 years old. Ears broad-based, rounded tips & sit
atop head with slight forward tilt. Large, oval, wide set eyes are
blue. Silky, long, thick coat especially around neck. Requires daily
grooming. Large oval eyes always deep blue colour. Ears set to side.
Long, bushy tail tapers slightly toward tip. Colours seal (dark
brown), blue, chocolate & lilac (pinkish grey). Kittens always
born white & do not achieve full colour until about 2 years old.
Average litter size: 5. Life span: 9-15 years.
