Origin: Turkey & Persia. Original name: Longhair. Extremely popular. One of most gentle & placid breeds. One of the least vocal, quiet & sweet natured. Affectionate lap cat. Adapt well & can be good with children. Round, stocky body. Very small ears & snubbed nose. Short, bushy tail. Beautiful, silky & luxurious coat that can be up to 6" long. Require daily grooming. More than 50 colours & patterns. White Persian known for being somewhat vain. Average litter size: 3-4. Life span: 9-15 years.
