Livestock farms in Malaysia will only export their products to a foreign country if the farm fulfill certain criteria according to the livestock which has been fixed by the Veterinary Department and the importing country. Most of the duck exporting farms in Perak exported their products to Singapore mainly. The Industry Unit and Department of Veterinary Services Kuala Lumpur are responsible in the selection and monitoring of the exporting farms to ensure the requirements or criteria are fulfilled. |
