A female seahorse deposits eggs into the pouch on the male's abdomen. The male releases sperm into the pouch, fertilizing the eggs. After the embryos have developed, the male gives birth to tiny seahorses.

Foxes use scent for their main communication. The big bushy tail (brush) helps to spread this around! When a fox is tired his scent weakens. When he is asleep he gives off no scent.

Flamingos are not born pink. They obtain their distinctive pink colour from their food which contain pigments called carotenoids. It can take up to 3 years for a chick to turn from grey to pink
