Guinea grass : Panicum maximum
Guinea grass grow best on heavy soil. It can also grow under shade, prefer somewhat
higher rainfall condition than the above three but it can withstand drought, can be grazed
or cut & carry, adapted to a wide range of soil but is better suited from medium to
highly fertile soil, responds well to high level of nitrogen fertilization, combine well
with many tropical legumes & established commercially by root stocks or by seeds.
