MINIATURE PINSCHER
 

Originated in Germany. Otherwise known as "minpin". Kept strictly as a companion. Height 10-12", weight 8-10 lbs. Spirited, sometimes stubborn. Some get along with children, others can be nasty. Aggressive with other dogs. Tendency to bark excessively. Coat is smooth, short, straight & lustrous. Need only a quick weekly brushing. Colour is red, stag red, black with sharply defined rust-red markings or chocolate with red-rust markings. Life span: 13-14 years.
