PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW IN EXPORTING DOGS / CATS |

The owner will bring the animalwith a letter or reference stating that the animal has been examined and found healthy, was properly immunized/vaccinated (Rabies, CPV+DHL; Rabies vaccination should be done more than 30 days prior to departure). Import documents from the importing countries should be attached. |

After examining the animal and confirming the corresponding identification, the microchip will be inserted and the animal bled for Nipah virus testing to be done in Veterinary Research Institute, Ipoh (VRI) ( IgG ). |

| 3. |
Once the result is known ( negative for Nipah Virus ), the owner will be contacted. He/she will then be required to bring a letter of reference from their own vet with the following statement :- |
